On the 18th of May 2011 members of the Radio and Television Commission of Lithuania by the majority of votes elected Mr. Paulius Subacius the chairman of the Commission. According to the Law the chairman is elected for the term of two years. He was delegated to the Commission by the Lithuanian Bishops‘ Conference.  Mr. Jonas Liniauskas', the former chairman‘s mandate both as a chairman and a member of the Commission expired on the 15th of May.

 

Mr. Rimantas Bagdzevicius, who is delegated to the Commission by the Seimas (Parliament) on the recommendation of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture was elected the vice-chairman for the term of two years as well.
