The Radio and Television Commission of Lithuania (LRTK) has confirmed the results of a tender for broadcasting rights on the 99.7 MHz frequency in Tauragė.

Two broadcasters took part in the tender:

• UAB “Info XXL” with the programme “XXL FM”;
• UAB “Labas, Klaipėda” with the programme “XFm.”

When evaluating the applications, the Commission considered the broadcasters’ experience, proposed programming, programme formats, and content concepts.

Following its assessment, the Commission selected UAB “Info XXL” as the winner of the tender with its radio programme “XXL FM.”

As a result, listeners in Tauragė will soon be able to tune in to “XXL FM” on 99.7 MHz.

The licence also grants the broadcaster the right to establish and operate the technical infrastructure necessary to transmit the programme on this frequency.

This decision expands the availability of “XXL FM” and brings another radio service to audiences in the Tauragė region.
